Pretty flowers, just like you.

Pile It On has another challenge for you, so come over and join us.

This week, we are sponsored by All Dressed Up.

They are offering our drawn winner two digital images.

Thank you so much for sponsoring this challenge, All Dressed Up!

This week would like you to use this sketch...

Feel free to rotate it, flip it, you can even change the rectangle to a circle if that works for you, just as long as we can see the original sketch in there.

I am using this sweet image, Little Flower Girl, from All Dressed Up. I colored her up with my Prismacolor pencils. The sketch is Pile It On's challenge sketch this week. Give a shot; it's a good one. :) I matted my image with some scraps from my stash which I am pretty sure is Elegant Eggplant and Almost Amethyst but I'm not totally positive. The white panel is embossed with my Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder.

Thanks for looking! I hop this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by All Dressed Up. Thanks so much!

I love this image from All Dressed Up, but there's not an image I've seen yet that I haven't loved. They;re just so girlie and sweet and with two girls in the house (and all their friends) it's hard not to find good uses for these adorable images.

I colored my little cutie with Prismacolor pencils. I had to outline her with my thin Copic markers because my printer didn't print as dark as it normally does and I wanted that effect. I guess I need a new ink cartridge. :) I used Copic markers for the outline and 'floor'. I used Glossy Accents on the starts and Diamond Stickles on her wings. I cut her out using my 'Labels 9' Nestabilities dies.

The doily is from my stash. Can I just say I don't think I have ever used a doily. Like EVER. I really like it! The diagonal paper is a scrap I had from making a mini album from a Teresa Collins kit a couple years ago. The edged piece in the center was also found, as is, in my scrap stash but I know that it's Stampin' Up's Elegant Eggplant. The card base is Bazzil's Marshmallow and the mats are Neenah's Desert Storm.

The sentiment is from a set that was gifted to me from Darnell. Thanks Darnell!! The set is call Communique Curves from PaperTrey Ink. I inked it up in Stampin' Up's Whisper White Craft ink and heat embossed it with their white embossing powder. Didn't do as well with the Craft ink as with Versamark but I wanted it to be 'very' white, if you know what I mean?

This is a card for our sweet friend, Dara Kate, who is celebrating 6 years old next week! I think I got the looks close enough that she will be able to tell it's her. :)

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Christmas Post

Come on over and join us. :)

All Dressed Up is our sponsor this week.

Thanks, All Dressed Up!

(They also have a challenge blog that you can check out HERE.)

I used 'Christmas Post'. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. I used my Shapeabilities Label 8 dies to cut my image and mat. The green card stock was from my scrap stash but I think it might be Green Galore from Stampin' Up. I loved how bright it was next to the red and black. Even though the card has both red and green, I don't see this as a 'traditional' Christmas card. A little more updated and modern version of traditional. :)

The designer paper are from Cosmo Cricket's Jolly by Golly mini deck (red snowflake paper) and Doodlebug's Halloween Parade pad (black polka dot paper). You can't rely tell, and I only succeeded in tearing the paper but I embossed the Doodlebug paper with my Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder. The card base is Neenah Desert Storm card stock.

The bling-y brads are from my stash and probably one of the first embellishments I have ever bought,  about 10 years ago. :) I added Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes on the image.

I haven't found the holiday sentiment I wast to use yet, so I will add that later.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Pretty Purple Pleats

Come on over and join us. :)

All Dressed Up is our sponsor this week.

Thanks, All Dressed Up!

(They also have a challenge blog that you can check out HERE.)

I used 'All Cuddle Make It All Better'. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils. Check out those pleats!! This is the first time I have been truly happy with the way my pleats turned out. Now to get them to look like that with Copics. :)

I die cut my image and mats with my Nestabilitities circle and scalloped circle dies. The mat and card base are Stampin' Up's Wild Wasabi. The designer papers are actually Doodlebug's Halloween Parade. Looks good even on a non-Halloween card! The rhinestones are from the Target dollar spot.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Puppy Love (PIO31)

This week, All Dressed Up is sponsoring our
'Faux or Real Stitching' challenge over at the Pile It On Challenge Blog!

All Dressed Up is offering our winner TWO digital products! WOW!

Thank you so much, All Dresses Up!!

Isn't this digi the cutest? Love it. :) I'm very fond of All Dressed Up in general but this pup gets me every time. This is a freebie over on All Dressed Up's challenge blog. They are so generous with their images!

I colored him up with my Prismacolors (the shading on my white areas look better than in these pictures). After I diecut my image, I added faux stitching around the edge. On my panel, I added real stitching. This was my first to do the real thing and I love the texture it gives my card. The mats are Stampin' Up's Real Red and the designer paper is from a Black and White paper pack I got from Hobby Lobby. I Glossy Accent-ed his nose and a couple random polka dots.

This is for a friend that just got a new puppy so I will add a gift card inside and my own little note.

Hip Hip Hooray!! (SACC59)

This week All Dressed Up is generously sponsoring our challenge.

https://www.etsy.com/shop/alldressedupstamps

The winner will receive 2 digital images. Wow!!

About All Dressed Up
Hi I am Wendy Burns I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters,  in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends.  I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors. I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn /sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.
Digital stamps is a new challenge for me and the opportunity to work with the All Dressed Up Team and has been very exciting, in particular the creative way my characters have been given individual personalities by the designers .
All Dressed Up is a newly launched blog with an enthusiastic team who are passionate about stamping.  The coordinators Marilyn and Tracy along with an amazing design team are also known as The Dressy Girls.
We have a friendly Facebook page, regular blog posts, tutorials, challenges and freebies .The stamps can be purchased from the Etsy shop which is updated on a monthly basis.
We really are friendly bunch and would love to see your creations so please feel free to contact us and visit the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog.

Thank you so much for your support, Wendy!

I created this card for ***I can't tell*** who is going to be a big sister! Hip-hip-hooray!!

This image is a FREEBIE over on the All Dressed Up blog. They are really so generous and their images are just adorable!! I am having such a good time playing with them.

Closeup of Details
Closeup of Details
I colored up my image with my Copic markers. All the paper is from the Hip Hip Hooray paper pad by American Crafts. The card base is Neenah Desert Storm and the mats are Stampin' Up Coastal Cabana (which match the paper perfectly). I used my Nestabilities circle and scallop dies for the main image and matting, various sized punches for the circles, Stampin' Up punches for the word window and banner, and Martha Stewart punches for the butterflies. The embroidery thread is also Martha Stewart (from a hundred years ago).

For the inside, I used another image and the same paper and matting. This card measures 5 by 5.25 inches; almost square. :) I also made an envelope but forgot to get a picture of it. Maybe I'll add pictures of that later.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

An Unexpected Arrival

So my neighbors are responsible for our neighborhood "emergency" email list. For example, if there's a break in or someone suspicious in the hood, they send out an email warning/cautioning everyone of what's going on. Also, if someone loses a pet, an email will go out about that as well. Well, this time the stray found its way straight to their house. A man brought this adorable puppy that had been hanging around a construction site all day to my friends' house.

Now, the back story is that they lost their family dog of 10 years the day after Christmas, so my friend's heart is still pretty tender. She is not ready for a new dog but has exhausted every outlet to find it a home (or its original owners). Her three kids have named it. Her husband has said they can keep it. So though she hasn't said the words, they have a new puppy. :)

Hence, this card...

I used this freebie from All Dressed Up and colored her with Copics. I've tried to do the whole "fur" thing and I'm not sure that I have succeeded. I used Classic Calico 6x6 paper pad by Studio Calico.

I left the inside blank and will write my own note. I am going to add a gift card to a pet store as well. :)

Welcome to the neighborhood, Cutie Pie!! (That's what they named her, the kids.)

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.
