Steampunk?

The new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz is STEAMPUNK!

I hope you will come over and join in the fun. :)

So, this is my very first attempt at steampunk. Go easy on me. :)

I used a freebie image from Beyond the Fringe. I colored him up using my Prismacolor pencils; only three! The 'Riveted' background image is also from Beyond the Fringe. I broke out my Walnut distress ink (haven't used those in FOREVER) and distressed all my edges. Then I topped the background with vellum slightly larger than my first piece. Fussy cut my main image out and attached it only in the middle of the body so that the arms could stick out a bit from the card front. I added a Tim Holtz gear and Glossy Accents to one of his eyes (My pencil/marker bled a little). Thought that looked pretty cool.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Welcome to another ANYTHING GOES Sister Act Challenge!

This week Di's Digis is generously sponsoring our challenge.

Thank you so much for your support, Di's Digis!

This image, 'Late Clock' is a freebie on the Beyond the Fringe blog. She has loads of freebies and you should go check her out.

After I printed my image out I fussy cut around it and colored up the hands of the clock with my silver gel pen. I die cut a Real Red circle from my Nestabilities and popped it up on dimensionals. Easy-peasy.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.
