Rainbow Fish

I was really inspired by The Alley Way's Be Inspired Challenge. And you all know my favorite color is rainbow. :)

These are The Alley Way freebies and I have used them many times before. These fish are perfect for me. :) I colored them with my Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut them all out. It turns out I forgot to run my black felt tip marker around the edges before adhering. Dag-nab-it. Added Crystal Stickles' bubbles straight to my Neenah Desert Storm card. The punch is Stampin' Up.

Thank you for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

How's Everything in Your Bowl?

I created this card using a digital stamp and color inspiration from The Alley Way Stamps and a sketch from Sketch Saturday. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder (I'm sorry that I can't remember the name) to create "bubbles" on my Pixie Pink panel. The sentiment (minus image) is from a Michaels dollar spot stamp and inked up in Versafine. I colored my fish with Copics (YR 04, -07, and -09) and then fussy cut the image out. I used black and white Inkssentials Enamel Accents for the eye. This is the first time I have used those and they're fun! :) I cut my Tempting Turquoise circle with my Nestabilities. I popped up my fish, as well as the entire panel on the card front.

And a Partridge in a Pear Tree?

So when The Alley Way Stamps Blog put this picture up as inspiration...

it took me all of three seconds to figure out what I wanted to do. I don't know why I immediately thought of Christmas but there you go. When I found a partridge in a pear tree image in their freebie section, it all came together in my head. And paired with this sketch from Mojo Monday...

this is the card I came up with. I wish now that I had used a pear instead of that gray circle but oh well.

For the card front, I used black and white cardstock with SU's Green Galore (embossed with the snowflake Cuttlebug folder), Yoyo Yellow, and Basic Gray. I printed the image from my computer onto Neenah Solar White cardstock. I knew I wanted to color it with my Copic markers. In real life, partridges are brown with black and white striped wings and a bright orange beak and feet. But this isn't real life is it? :)

I am also entering this card on The Pink Elephant Blog's (TPE217) 'digi image'.
