Thank you so much for sponsoring this challenge, Sami Stamps!

(Sami Stamps also has a challenge blog and you can find that here. :))

I love this sweet image from Sami Stamps. Of course, I had to color my umbrella in a rainbow. :) I used my Prismacolor pencils. I used my circle and scalloped circle Nestabilities dies. I used a scrap of designer paper from an old Simon Says Stamp kit as a border and cut my circle a bit to add interest.

Thanks for looking! I hop this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Blond Ava

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by MilkCoffee. Thanks so much!

I used this darling image from Saturated Canary called 'Ava'. Isn't she so sweet? I colored her up with my Prismacolor pencils using my favorite, a rainbow theme! I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Black Onyx ink and a Sweet Stamp Shop set (retired). I added Glossy Accents to the balloon.

This is for a sweet little friend of my oldest. She is a blond, and I hope she likes that I tried to make the image look like her. :)

I have a brunette version coming later in the month for my daughter's birthday in mid-March.

Pile It On has another challenge for you, so come over and join us.

This week, we are sponsored by Paper Sweeties.

Thank you so much for sponsoring this challenge, Paper Sweeties!

This week would like you to USE A BOW.

I used a WPlus9 Design Studio stamp set called Fresh Cut Florals. I was planning on using the companion die set but the card just didn't go that way. I am looking forward to playing with this one a bit more in the near future.

I used Memento Dew Drops in a rainbow (literally) of colors. I really like the way the ink looks watercolored. Didn't know I was going for that but I love it. :) I also used Stampin' Up's Whisper White Craft ink for the inside of some of the flowers.

The card stock is Bazzil's Marshmallow and Neenah's Desert Storm. The ribbon is from my stash. Just a plain black grosgrain that looks prefect with these fresh cut flowers.

I made this card for my cousin's, Sammie, birthday this Monday. Happy birthday, sweet girl! I love you.

Rainbow Butterflies

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by Digital Paper Craft. Thanks so much!

My best friend LT asked if I had 'any rainbow cards'. Um, hello! You know me!! When I asked why, she explained that she had a friend that was pregnant again after the death of her first baby at 2 months old. He was born at 27 weeks because both of them were sick with Fifths Disease and his little body just couldn't recover. Well, she is about to reach that week with her current pregnancy and LT just wants to give her a some encouragement.

As you some of you may already know, I did this post on Rainbow Babies a little over a year ago. This is such a beautiful but heartbreaking time. I'm so glad that I got to help LT express her feelings to her friend.

I made several cards for her to chose from, this is just the first one.

The pictures are horrible. The change in seasons is totally messing up my picture taking and I haven't quite figured out what to do about it yet. It's either too bright or too dark. So I'm sorry about that but I'm trying to fix it.

I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punched and used a bunch of scraps to create a rainbow. I did this a couple of months ago with another card in mind but it just never got made. When Lt mentioned making a rainbow card, I immediately thought of this butterfly punch. My original plan was to use rainbow rhinestones and white butterflies but these kept calling from my desk. (I will still make that other card to add to LT's choices.)

The rhinestones are from Target and Michaels dollar spots. I matted my main panel to basic black card stock and then adhered to my Neenah Solar White card base.

For the butterflies, I adhered them together with Tom's Mono Multi and the green butterfly on the bottom is adhered down completely. I fluffed the others up to create the #D effect.

I still may add a sentiment and/or rhinestones to the body of the butterfly, but that's up to LT.

Thanks so much for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

You're perfect.

Even if this card isn't.

It's time for another challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations! Come on over and join us. :)

This week our challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps.

Bugaboo is offering our randomly drawn winner THREE digis!

Wow! Thank you so much, Bugaboo

This week our challenge to you is STORY TIME!!
I used the Simon Says Stamp 'To Thine Own Shelf'. I love this set because, as you know, I love rainbows and it's very conducive to that! I also like to create scenes but don't really know how to, so this set makes that an easy accomplishment.

I stamped my shelves and sentiments in Versafine Black Onyx ink and all the other colors came from a set of Dew Drops by Memento. The longer of the shelves got smeared, which I haven't done in forever. It also stamp crooked when I went back over the original stamping because I wanted it darker. Jennifer McGuire makes it look so easy.

Overall, I'm happy with it. It's just my style!

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Sending Happy Thoughts (SACC)

Come on over and join us. :)

This is my very first easel card. I found a super easy tutorial that makes me wonder why in the world I waited so long to try it!

I punched out my butterflies with a Martha Stewart hand punch. I used a rainbow of colors from my stash. This is a great way to get rid of those scraps. :) I stamped my WPlus9 Design Studio sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink in the very center of my panel, placing my butterflies around it. After adhering, I added Crystal Stickles to their bodies.

On the inside, I created this panel by starting with very thin (1/8 inch) strips of the same paper as my butterflies. Another great way to use up those scraps. :) I adhered them with glue in across my scrap paper and then trimmed once everything was dry. I then added the black mat and used this piece to create a stand for my easel card. I thought it needed "something", so I added the same Stickles to the corner like I would enamel dots.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Rainbow Luggage Tower (CIC279)

It's time for another challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations! Come on over and join us. :)

This week our challenge is sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs.

Fresh Brewed Designs is offering our randomly drawn winner THREE digis!

Wow! Thank you so much, Fresh Brewed Designs

This week our challenge to you is Around Town!!

New York Skyline by Claire Gevaux

I am using Luggage Tower by Fresh Brewed Designs. I colored up my image using my Prismacolor pencils. I LOVE this rainbow look! Are you surprised? :)

The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called 'Life is a Journey'. I used Stampin' Up's White craft ink and put white embossing powder over to create a more vibrant white. I heat embossed it twice and on the second go, I had some powder stick. I also had a little trouble with the ink smearing from the baby wipe I used to wipe the pre-powder off the card. Silly me. Feel kind of dumb.

I dry embossed the panel (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder) after I heat set and the heat emboss did crack a bit. This is the first time I have done that so if you have any advice, please let me know. So, a couple little problems. I guess if it was perfect no one would believe I made it, right? :)

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

My Little Pony

It's challenge time again at Sister Act Challenge Blog
and, as always, our challenge is ANYTHING GOES, so come join us!

This week our sponsor is 2 Cute Ink

Thank you so much for your support, 2 Cute Ink

I used Nerdy Horses but they're more like cutie horses!! My oldest wears glasses so I love that this horse is wearing them too. I colored her up using Prismacolor pencils. I would have liked to try Copics but I just didn't have enough of the colors to achieve the look I was going for. I also thought about using Gamsol with my pencils and might try that the next time.

My mom passed some embossing paste to me from I don't know where. She wasn't using it so it came to sit at my house. Until today. :) I finally decided it was time to give it a shot. I dumped a bunch of glitter (Martha Stewart, I believe. It was passed down from Terri's things.) and scraped it on using a Simon Says Stamp stencil (not available, similar HERE) . It was my first time using that as well. Feels really good to be using things up.

On the inside, I used another Simon Says Stamp set, Color and Sunshine, for my sentiment. I thought it was fitting with my colorful hair do.

I realized after I took my photos that I forgot to add my Glossy Accents to her glasses and Diamond Stickles to her bows. So add that in your head. :)

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.
