With a cherry on top.

It's time for another challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations!!
I hope you'll come over and join us.

We are sponsored this week by DRS Designs!

DRS Designs is generously providing a prize to our randomly chosen winner.

Thanks so much for sponsoring our challenge, DRS Designs!

Each challenge, we give you an inspiration cupcake and you make a card or other craft project that is inspired by the cupcake.

Here is this week's cupcake.

I'm just not having much luck with getting my cards straight these days...a day late and a dollar short. Or a couple degrees off to the right.

This card is for a sweet little girl in my kindergartner's class. She is turning 6 years old. :)

I used this cupcake from DRS Designs. I colored up four cupcakes with my Prismacolor pencils and cut and layered them up. The pink card stocks are from my scrap bin. I believe they are Stampin' Up but I can't be sure. The dies are my oval and scalloped oval Nestabilities. My card base is Bazzil's Marshmallow White.

The sentiment is from Unity and inked up with Versafine Black Onyx ink.

The interior is empty because my girl will need lots of space to write her own message to the birthday girl. :)

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Our challenge to you this week is to use HEARTS & FLOWERS on your project.

This week, we are sponsored by Digital Delights.

Digital Delights is offering our winner a $5 gift certificate.
Thank you so much for sponsoring this challenge, Digital Delights!

I started with a Neenah Solar White card base and used my Memory Box Heart of Hearts die to create my 'window'. I stamped my MFT's Bold Statements stamp set in Versafine Black Onyx ink.

For the interior, I added more of the paper (used on this card as well) from a Simon Says Stamp kit. I am planning on stamping or writing my sentiment in bold red. I haven't quite decided yet.

Watts and watts...

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by Digital Delights. Thanks so much!

I used the Simon Says Stamp set called 'Watt's Up?'. Adorable. All the papers and embellishments are from the card kit that this set was included in, which I can't remember but is no longer available anyway. It's sad but this is the first time I've used the kit and stamp set, too.

I stamped my lightbulb and sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx ink. I used my oval Nestabilities dies to create my panel and popped it up on foam dots.

The inside sentiment is stamped with the same set and ink.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

SweetHeart Cupcakes

I used Fresh Brewed Designs Luggage Tower and colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils. My sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called Life Is a Journey. It is stamped in Basic Gray ink from Stampin' Up. My ink pad was running out but I like the effect is left on the card. I kind-of worn look. :) I popped up my panel on Pretty In Pink SU cardstock.

On the inside, I used another sentiment from that set with the same ink.

This is going to a woman that I travel with and I think she will really enjoy receiving it.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

From all of us.

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digi Stamps. Thanks so much, Bugaboo!

I used Bugaboo's Celebration Bunch and colored it up with Prismacolor pencils. One of the things I love about Bugaboo images is that they are so easy to color up. You can color it quickly or add shadow detailing and whatnot. Very versatile, not to mention FUNNY.

I matted my image on some old paper I found in my scrap bag. That's pretty much where all of the paper I;m using is coming from right now. :) The card base is Neenah Desert Storm. The sentiment is stamped from Sweet Stamp Shop called Monogram Alpha in Stampin' Up's Whisper White Craft ink. I absolute love this set. (I used it to stamp all the names on our Christmas gifts this year. I used plain brown paper and white ink, gorgeous!)

On the inside, I used the same ink and set to write 'From all of us'.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

I am using Bugaboo's Candy Jar and colored it up using my Prismacolor pencils. I used my Nestabilities dies in Circle and Scalloped Circle sets with paper from my scraps. The sentiment is stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink and is from the Paper Smooches Chit Chat set.

Here is this week's cupcake.

I used Charlie Sledding from Doodle Pantry. He comes with several sentiments but I picked this one because my Papa Bill needs a pick me up.

I colored him up using my Prismacolor pencils. I cut him out using my oval Nestabilities. The sentiment is die cut with a Stampin' Up die set. The card stock is SU's Brilliant Blue.

Once, I find them (I can't wait to have access to all my stuff once again), I want to add Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes.

House Update #1- The Destruction

So we went from this...
Our original 1950 home
To this...
January 3rd - First hit from the excavator, taken from our neighbor's house.
The excavator is sitting in the girls' room, *tear*
January 5th - As the kids called it, 'our pile of sticks'
(I'm standing roughly where the port-a-potty is in the other pictures.)
And now we have this...
January 8th - Everything hauled away and excavator ready to be picked up.
A clean slate to start our new home.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Party Time!

Come on over and join us. :)

This week we are being sponsored by Zap Pow Designs. Thanks so much!

I am using their 'Birthday Bot' digi stamp. I colored him up with my Prismacolor pencils and used several different sizes of my Nestabilities circle and scallop dies to cut him out. So bummed that I got him on the card crooked. Oh well.

I think his balloon and eyes are going to get some Glossy Accents (if I can get my hands on it).

This card measures 4.25 by 8.5. Playing around with different card sizes.

The card stock is Stampin' Up's Wild Wasabi and Neenah Desert Storm. The card base is Neenah 80# Solar White.

I layered the Wild Wasabi fishtail under the scalloped circle and the other two layers under the first circle with the image. Trying to mix it up a bit. :) Can you even tell?

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Thanks so much for sponsoring our challenge, My Creative Time!

Each challenge, we give you an inspiration cupcake and you make a card or other craft project that is inspired by the cupcake.

Here is this week's cupcake...

I used an image from Saturated Canary called 'Nikki' and I colored her up with my Prismacolor pencils and Copic markers. I added a little shine with a gel pen on her blades. I want to add Glossy Accents where the shadows are to act like ice but I don't want to mess up my image. :) I matted the image on Stampin' Up's Basic Gray card stock. The sentiment is inked up with same ink. (And pressed too hard and messed up but oh well.)

I haven't put a sentiment inside yet, as my daughter wants to send this to her new pen-pal and I was thinking it would be a birthday card.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.
