I am using Fresh Brewed Designs 'Java Jill Juggles' and sentiment on this Confetti inspired card. I am using my sequins and microbeads as confetti today. :) 

I created this card with my Labels 8 dies and used almost the whole set. I colored Java Jill up with my Prismacolor pencils and matted her with some paper from my stash. I added Martha Stewart microbeads and sequins in different colors (from Joann's) to create the confetti. 

I cut out the sentiment and added a fishtail free hand. I just adhered it under the frame so it has dimension. It think I added a bit too much goodness on the inside of my card but I'd rather have too much than not enough.

SweetHeart Cupcakes

I used Fresh Brewed Designs Luggage Tower and colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils. My sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called Life Is a Journey. It is stamped in Basic Gray ink from Stampin' Up. My ink pad was running out but I like the effect is left on the card. I kind-of worn look. :) I popped up my panel on Pretty In Pink SU cardstock. 

On the inside, I used another sentiment from that set with the same ink.

This is going to a woman that I travel with and I think she will really enjoy receiving it.

New York Skyline by Claire Gevaux

I am using Luggage Tower by Fresh Brewed Designs. I colored up my image using my Prismacolor pencils. I LOVE this rainbow look! Are you surprised? :) 

The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called 'Life is a Journey'. I used Stampin' Up's White craft ink and put white embossing powder over to create a more vibrant white. I heat embossed it twice and on the second go, I had some powder stick. I also had a little trouble with the ink smearing from the baby wipe I used to wipe the pre-powder off the card. Silly me. Feel kind of dumb.

I dry embossed the panel (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder) after I heat set and the heat emboss did crack a bit. This is the first time I have done that so if you have any advice, please let me know. So, a couple little problems. I guess if it was perfect no one would believe I made it, right? :)

Graduation Cupcakes by The Clever Little Cupcake Company

I couldn't find any coloring mediums in my stash that matched the challenge colors as well as I would've liked but I did my best. I finally settled on simple Prismacolor pencil coloring. No fancy shading either; I'm sure you're all surprised. :) All of the colored cardstock is from my scrap bin (Can I get YEA for using up scraps?) and so I don't know the colors or manufacturers. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up's Warm Words set and inked in Tempting Turquoise. I used my oval and scalloped oval Nestabilities dies. Had to do a little hand cutting because I wanted my layers closer together than the dies were allowing. :)

Simple card today. This card will probably be from my kids to someone special for Fourth of July or a birthday. We'll see.

Here's my take...

The Prismacolor Pencils on the cupcake look much brighter than in real life. The name on the pencil was 'chartreuse' so I figured it should work. *wink* The card base is Stampin' Up Whisper White and the scalloped circle is Chocolate Chip. The green is from a Big Lots stack my mom got a hundred years ago and contains two or three sheets of fifty different colors. It matches perfectly even if it doesn't look it in the pictures. The 'hello' is from a Stampendous set called Flower Chat and stamped in SU's Green Galore.
