I am using Luggage Tower by Fresh Brewed Designs. I colored up my image using my Prismacolor pencils. I LOVE this rainbow look! Are you surprised? :)
The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp set called 'Life is a Journey'. I used Stampin' Up's White craft ink and put white embossing powder over to create a more vibrant white. I heat embossed it twice and on the second go, I had some powder stick. I also had a little trouble with the ink smearing from the baby wipe I used to wipe the pre-powder off the card. Silly me. Feel kind of dumb.
I dry embossed the panel (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder) after I heat set and the heat emboss did crack a bit. This is the first time I have done that so if you have any advice, please let me know. So, a couple little problems. I guess if it was perfect no one would believe I made it, right? :)

I'm a sucker for anything in 'rainbow' colours, so this just jumped out at me!! You've coloured so perfectly with pencils (I still colour like I'm 5yrs old....) and love that you used a black card, it really makes the colours pop. Gorgeous!! And I must ask, you've linked to so many different challenges. Do you have a secret fast way of doing all the linking?? It takes me so long when I have to link to even 3 or 4 challenges. Could you share your secret with me...please???

ReplyDeleteoh my GOD this is super funtastic dear Alycia..I never seen luggage in colorfull like this and in rainbow colors looks so lovely and the Embossing dots I loooveee it much...as I have no cutting machine my friends some in USA sent me last 4-5 years ago and I still keep it for special occasion..and I love the sentiment too.
