Our Father...

Pile It On has another challenge for you, so come over and join us.

This week, we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear.

Thank you so much for sponsoring this challenge, Stitchy Bear!

This week would like you to use a SENTIMENT AS A FOCAL POINT.

We had a pretty rough Spring Break. It started with the sudden death of a family friend and ended with his memorial. It's hard to bounce back from that even with it being vacation.

Anyhoo, I made this card for the widow and dear friend. They are devote Catholics so I my hope is that this is a reminder of a better place and time that now their husband and father wait for us.

I used Stitchy Bear's 'Our Father' digi stamp for my sentiment and focal point. I colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils.

Thanks for looking! I hop this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I used a Flat Friends digital image. They are so cute. :)

I colored my cutie up with Prismacolor pencil and die cut him out using my Shapabilities oval dies. I added a sentiment using an October Afternoon set called 'Love Notes'.

This card was made for my little three year old guy for Valentine's day. I heart him. :)

My Little Ballerinas

It's time for another challenge over at the Pile It On Challenge Blog

This week our challenge to you is to USE AT LEAST TWO DIE CUTS

We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet. They are offering our winner a $10 gift voucher.
Thanks, Stitchy Bear!!

I used Chloe's Ballet Lessons and colored her up with my Prismacolor pencils. I created each of my daughters and their ballet lesson leotard uniform colors.

I also wanted to show that even if you are a CAS card maker (like me), you can still use layers and keep your card CAS.

I die cut two stars to create layers. On the biggest, I added adhesive to the edges and sprinkled loose glitter to create a 'glittered' star. The smaller star was actually cut with the image printed on it so that her ties would still be visible even after I fussy cut her out. I popped everything up to create more dimension.

I embossed the back panels with my Cuttlebug Swiss dots folder. The card stock is Stampin' Up's Bashful Blue and Orchid Opulence.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

This little light of mine.

Come on over and join us. :)

Sorry about the pictures...I am losing the light so much quicker these days and not remembering that fact yet. :P I will try and retake them in better light.

Stitchy Bear is our sponsor this week and, I am using their Christmas Lantern. I love it colored up in non-tradional Christmas colors. I know that the bright pink and green are just versions of red and green but I still thinks its cool and different. :)

I colored the image up with my Prismacolor pencils. I Glossy Accented the glass in the lantern. I wish now that I had colored it in yellow to emulate the light but it's too late now. I used my Shapeabilities Labels 8 dies to create a mat for my main image. The solid card stock is Stampin' Up's Gable Green and Garden Green. The designer papers are Holly Jolly by Cosmo Cricket. The little gems are from the Michaels Dollar Spot.

On the inside, I used my favorite 'unknown maker' holiday stamp set. I inked it up with Versafine Black Onyx ink. Thought this sentiment was perfect for the image!

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Want to play? (SACC61)

This week Stitchy Bear is generously sponsoring our challenge.

Thank you so much for your support, Stitchy Bear!

My goddaughter is having a pool party for her fourth (FOURTH?!?!) birthday in a couple of weeks. I was in the process of making this for her summer card but I think it works perfectly for her birthday. :)

I colored my little girl up with my Prismacolor pencils and cut her out with my Shapabilities dies. The designer paper is Hip Hip Hooray! by American Crafts. The mats are Stampin' Up's Coastal Cabana cardstock. The rhinestones are from my stash. I punched out my sentiment and mat from Stampin' Up punches.

On the inside, I simply added the left over scraps from the card front. Since I put happy birthday on the front I thought it might be redundant put it inside as well.

This card measures 5.5 by 5.5 inches.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

Singing in the Rain...(SACC#51)

This week STITCHY BEAR is generously sponsoring our challenge.
Thank you so much for your support!

This is a 5.5 by 5.5 inch square card. I used Stitchy Bear's Rainy Days digi stamp. I colored her up with my Prismacolor pencils. The designer paper is from Dear Lizzy's 'Lucky Charm' line. The papers are matted on SU's Night of Navy cardstock. I tied seam binding ribbon around my card and then added a triple bow. I forgot to add my Glossy Accents to her glasses before taking my photos but I will do that prior to sending it to that someone special. :)

I used scraps for the inside of my card but haven't added a sentiment yet as I don't know exactly what I who I want it for.

Thanks for looking! I hope this finds you happy and healthy.
