Elegant Wedding Couple (CIC246)

Welcome to a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations!! This week our sponsor is

Digi Darla is giving 5 digis to our randomly drawn winner!

Thank you so very much for sponsoring our challenge!

Here is this week's inspiration cupcake.
Our challenge this week is to use the color combination fushia, cream, and slate.

Here's my take...

Loving this Tall Wedding Couple! Aren't they just so elegant?!?! As soon as I saw this image and thought of the challenge, I knew what a pretty card the combination would make.

Again, I'm not a cream kind of girl so I used white. :) My cardstock is Stampin' Up in the colors of Smoky Slate and Purely Pomegranate. I was able to match those colors on to my image using my Prismacolor Pencils. I embossed my back panel with a Sizzix folder that doesn't have a name on it. Love that it looks like lace. The sentiment is from SU's Small Script set.

I haven't put a sentiment inside yet because I'm still trying to figure out if it will be an anniversary or wedding/shower card.

Thanks for looking! Hope this finds you happy and healthy.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The Card Concept #2 - Texture
CAS-ology #80 - Purple
Sweet Stamps #154 - Lace and Hearts
C.R.A.F.T. #244 - Love/Valentine's Day
Cute Card Thursday #306 - Something New - New Marriage!!
Totally Papercrafts #204 - C.A.S.

  13. That is a sensational wedding couple and you've showcased them so beautifully, Alycia! I love the background EF and that simple touch of color on her dress, plus the sweet hearts floating in the air between them! That will be a keepsake by who(m)ever is lucky enough to receive it!! Hugs, Darnell (There are some things my brain just refuses to store and knowing when to use who and when to use whom is one of those things. Personally, I think it's because the proper way to use whom sounds pretentious. I think. I could be wrong. I try to avoid using it at all since it normally doesn't affect what I'm saying. Or is that effect?)
