This week, I made a card that followed
CAS(E) this sketch! #45 challenge. I also wanted to challenge myself to make a one layer card and thought I had succeeded until I went to attach my card front. Duh.
I used a white cardstock front on a Kraft standard A2 card and Stampin' Up's (old) Brights collection; Yo-yo Yellow, Real Red, Almost Amethyst, Brilliant Blue, and Green Galore. The stamps I used were from Paper Smooches called Chit-Chat and Borderlicious. I had a little trouble with the chevrons lining up...my stamp press is in the mail. Can't wait! The sequins are from a pack I picked up at Joanns. I believe there are 9 different colors in the pack.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks for looking. Hope this finds you happy and healthy.
Very sweet

Love the colors and simplicity of this card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice CAS design and yet so colorful and playful too! This is a terrific example of using white space as a design element. I have a bunch of old Stampin Up inks too and they are so bright and beautiful I still use them often too. Thanks for joining in on the September Bootcamp Alycia!
