I started with Stampin' Up Sahara Sand cardstock and a "swing card tutorial" on YouTube and created my base. I didn't crease my edges yet because I thought it would be easier to decorate flat (and it was). I matted the "swing" part with black cardstock. I stamped the bones in Versamark and covered in UTEE before heat setting, leaving those "glossy" bones.
I used thick white card stock and stamped the dog and hydrant in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used my Copic markers to color both. Be gentle, I don't use Copics often and I'm still trying to learn. :) I used a silver gel pen for the dog tag. Lastly, I fussy cut out both images and popped up on pop dots.
I've seen this saying before but never on a stamp so I had to create my own. I used one of those little boxes of stamps in the Target Dollar Spot to stamp my sentiments. Using my Stampin' Up oval punch and a Nestabilities I finished up the wording with more SU Sahara Sand and white cardstock.
To complete the look, I stamped the hydrant on the envelope as well. I thought that added a cute touch.
What do you think?
